PARTS OF SPEECH


PARTS OF SPEECH

For competition will have to know only the main part of speech which are as follows
  1. Noun
  2. Pronoun
  3. Verb
  1. Noun – Noun is a Name of a person place or thing. There are two types of noun that are a. subject
b. object
  1. Now the object are of two type a. Direct object
b. Indirect Object 3. Verbs are of two type’s a. Main Verb
b.Helping Verb
Helping verbs are – Is, am, are, was, were, has, have, had, do, did, can, could, may, might, etc.
Main Verbs Are – Will , Shall Etc.
NOTE – Main Verbs Do not Act ac Helping Verbs i.e. they always require some verbs.
Forms of Verbs -
There are three forms of verbs they are as follows-
1. Present
2. Past
3. Future

Word Syntax –
English Words are generally formed with following structures –
Subject + helping Verb + Main Verb + Indirect Object + Direct Object
Eg. Ram Gave Shyam a pen.
He Said that he would come next day.
Pronoun
Pronoun Include the concept of Persons that is

1st Person
2nd Person
3rd Person
Let consider the following Examples
Eg. This is my pen
This pen is mine
In the above example both the sentence indicate the main verb but here I And Mine is used for the same person This is Known as Possessive case.
Use of Affostraf
It is used Only for Living things Only If it use for Non living thing then it is grammatically incorrect.
Eg. This table Leg’s are Broken
Legs of this table is Broken.
Kinds of Sentences
There are three kinds of sentences which we use in our daily life that is
  1. Positive sentences
  2. Negative Sentences
  3. Interrogative Sentences
1. Positive Sentences – Structures
Subject + Helping Verb + Main Verb + Object
E.g. Ram is playing Football.
2. Negative Sentences – Structure
Subject + Helping Verb + Not + Main Verb + Object
E.g. Ram is not playing football.
3. Interrogative Sentences – Structure
Helping Verb + Subject + Main Verb + Object
E.g. Is Ram Playing Football?
How to ask questions
Here is some basic structure for How to ask questions
Structure
Wh. Word + Helping Verb + Subject + Main Verb
Wh. word May Be Any thing that is
When which where whome who etc.
E.g. where are you going?
